Fierce Love

God is amazing, faithful, and loving. He knows all things and continuously protects us from what and who wants to destroy us.

Why, I ask does it seem like you don’t show Yourself strong like You did thousands of years ago?

Why does it seem, is the key question. Why? I believe because we see in part and not the fullness of God. As we draw closer to God we see more of Him, but never His fullness. There is so much to Him and yet He is simple. We are able to see His hand, Him at work, always thru our faith in Him, in Jesus. We see better when we stand firm knowing and believing He is the one true and living God, who can do all things.

He is faithful. So we should be just as faithful. He loves and is loving towards us. His affection wraps around us with care and warmth. He is the fire that keeps us warm in a storm. He is the light that shines forever bright, continuously radiating hope in the darkest places. He does so much for us, some things we see and some things we do not see. But, regardless of what we see or don’t see, we ought to believe and act on our faith, knowing that God is here and actively working on our behalf. He will never leave us or turn His back on us. We have a choice and can choose to be what He has said we are…made in His image and likeness. We therefore can and are able to be continuously faithful, responsible, and completely trustworthy as Daniel.

We can stretch towards Him and lean in to His face when we set our hearts, minds, and being to have His best interest at heart. But, even if we don’t, He has our best interest at heart. He loves us with no exception. God’s love is beyond what we can imagine. His love can be seen by all so, we can believe and know in the one True and Living God.
