Promise in Our Faith

Carelessness will get you no where. We cannot have a blind eye to the people, things, and circumstances around us and before us. We cannot claim ignorance when there is literally information about every and anything at a stroke of our fingertips. We can learn how to treat one another fairly and honestly. We, have to open our eyes and pay attention to the things we do and choose to participate in. We cannot do things we know we don’t like or think is wrong for a dollar.

How can we sell our soul for pennies, for things we ourselves don’t believe. We cannot and should not sell ourselves short and take short cuts just to end up in a lifetime of pain. We all have to stand up on our own and choose the right way, the only way that will save our lives time and time again. Our Savior.

God is the only one who cares, shows up, protects. gives, loves, and is. He has a greater and better plan for us. I pray for strength for each person, to not just choose the easy way or the most lucrative way. Money comes and goes but your soul is with us forever. Why torment our soul for a lifetime, for a few minute fix. A fix that is like a band aid, temporary. Temporary, short time, leading to repeats. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to repeat bad situations.

Just in case I’m not clear on better choices…

If you feel you owe anyone more than love… If you feel that you could not live as your own and must depend on another human beings work… If you feel oppressed, depressed, and abused…If your lifestyle has you bound and you are a slave to your money.. If you do anything only for a dollar….

Than baby you are in the wrong direction and away from His glorious light. There is a way that seems right but only leads to death.

Jesus died for our freedom. Freedom to live unhindered. The world is truly ours to inhabit. It may seem gloom and dark when we look at those around you. When we see people lying and cheating and getting ahead. But know their time is short lived. Whatever God starts in us is a lifetime. “ He who has begun a great work, will bring it to completion.” No need in wondering if everything is going to work out. Only trust that if He took us there, He will bring us thru to the end.

Life can feel and resemble a gauntlet. We begin our walk and can see all those who have gone before us and we say, “ I can do it too.” We move towards what we envision…But than… all that is around us starts to form and take shape and it no longer looks like what we saw. In fact, all around looks chaotic and it feels like we are sinking. We don’t know what to do. We are in it, wanting to return back to where we were, but we are too far to go back but seemingly close enough to finish. We have to make the decision to stay or move. We have to make the decision to trust the process.

But, what process? I thought I was just living the dream. What dream? Who’s dream?

And hear is where “the rubber meets the road”, the question the opens the door to your path…How do I do this? And guess what we don’t have the map for the path to our destination. But there is One who does. And he says push forward to get to the end, the end which we saw from the beginning.

Don’t fool yourself in thinking its going to be easy, not at all. Because His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. So change seems and looks hard, but its only the beginning of the creation of new eyes and new thinking and new way of doing things, correctly. So it takes some adjusting to see thru His looking glass but the vision is beautiful and continuously inspiring. He will stretch our way of doing and thinking…growing us into a better us… the real us.

See, because we were designed by Him and perfectly, He called us to be… now we have to manifest His original design, His intention.

See we are taught that God created and poof… but reality is God said and saw with His eyes…But, pay close attention. All had to manifest, come into its completeness. We are not in our completeness, we have much to grow….

So please, please, please, don’t stunt your growth for a measly dollar or another person’s recognition or like. Choose the favor of God over your life, in it and thru it at all times. Money comes and goes and so does every other material thing, but God is forever and everything good and pure comes with him. All riches and glory are in His hand.

What He has done before He can do again. It’s all up to us. We have to choose what we want to see with the lens of our faith. Our promises are wrapped up in our faith and obedience. See, because He blessed David as a King but He also sat down Moses, who never saw the promise land. We have to actively choose to be a better listener and doer for God. Because I don’t know about you, but I want to see my life is not in vain. I want to see what God saw when He said the plan and purpose for my life.
