It’s all in what you see

I hear a continuous, “line up“

We are trained and have trained ourselves to believe life is the way it is and we are to do what is deemed normal by society.

And when someone says “no, I define my life the way I define life” then a problem arises.

People take and treat one another as a possession. But, we do not belong or are owned by anyone. We do not have a right to be greedy of anyone’s time. Unfortunately we all at times forget to say thank you for what we are given and demand more at every turn and get upset when we don’t get more. Not just with the people in our lives but with everything we have been given.

We don’t always fully realize that all we have in our lives is because of a door opened for us. We all have to be mindful of how we walk through life. Each step given should be seen, with eyes wide open and with every touch felt, all with appreciation and not with disdain or entitlement.

We are by no means paupers or slaves to people or things but should be appreciative, grateful, loved, aware and in touch. We are strong and our strength comes from God and our strength comes from a true acknowledgment and indwelling acceptance of God as our source and life.

If we choose to not think and treat life as habit, we can live in gratefulness being able to live another day with the same gift which we can take care of, appreciate, and maintain. Contrary to popular belief, commitment and faithfulness are not weaknesses. We can be committed and faithful and not be owned by anyone. It is our gifts to the world and to ourselves. These characteristics are part of our true strength, a strength that is exemplified and given to us by and through God. It is part of the best of us that should not be neglected or thought of as a less then.

It’s beauty! Image and likeness.
